Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools offer a variety of ways for families to save money while attending athletic events. Please see the ticket information below to find out how you can save money of athletic event admissions.

The Michigan High School Athletic Association (M.H.S.A.A.) requires each student-athlete to have a valid physical on file with the school before they may participate in Middle School or High School athletics. A Physical Examination Form must be completed before practicing with any athletic team.

MHSAA PHYSICAL EXAMINATION CLEARANCE FORM

Please make plans to schedule your child's athletic physical through your family doctor or another health care provider. This is a Michigan High School Athletic Association requirement, so please plan on scheduling physicals on or after April 15th of every year. THEY MUST HAVE A VALID PHYSICAL ON FILE BEFORE THEY MAY PARTICIPATE.

If you are a parent of a high school student-athlete, please be aware of the following school policies:

1. All of your child's uniforms and equipment must be turned in from their previous sport before they may begin their next sport. This includes the paying of any outstanding athletic bills.

2. Their participation fee from any previous athletic seasons must be paid before they may begin their next athletic season.

During the 2019-2020 school year, G-A initiated the Athletic Strategic Planning process. Over 50 participants engaged in the process through a series of several meetings. They represent students, parents, athletic directors, principals and coaches from the middle and high school and community. Recommendations from the stakeholder group will be integrated in the district-wide strategic planning process and will impact the future of G-A Athletics.
