Final Fay of Kids Heart Challenge is tomorrow for the students that did not participate on Friday. Please return collection envelopes including online donation forms tomorrow. Currently we are at $7600. We will keep the online donation page open through Friday, March 12. Your donations to the American HeRt Association is appreciated.

Our students have had so much fun with this year’s Kids Heart Challenge! We are extremely proud of our families for supporting this service-learning initiative! Thank you all for helping your student take the online heart healthy pledge, raise donations or both.

Our current status for the Kids Heart Challenge Event 2021. 4th/5th grade event is Thursday, March 4. K-3 event is Friday, March 5 or Monday, March 8. Classroom teachers will have the schedule.

Our G-A staff are scheduled to get their 2nd covid vaccinations next Wednesday, Feb. 24th. Yeah! Looking ahead, we need to make a minor schedule change to accommodate any potential side effects that our staff may experience.
Next Thursday, February 25th will be a VIRTUAL learning day for all students. Teachers will provide more information on their virtual plans.
Free daycare for K-5th students will be available.
It is our sincere hope that this will be the LAST schedule change that we will need to make. We recognize the difficulties that schedule changes make for families & we appreciate your patience. Thank you!

Our goal was to move to full face to face instruction starting Feb. 15th. However, we want to keep students and staff safe to the best of our ability, and we have some safety items that will not be in until the end of next week or early the following week.

GACS is developing a plan to support moving K-12 classroom instruction from the Hybrid Model to a 100% Face to Face Instructional Model. Our target is for mid February, possibly February 15, dependent on School Board approval.
To do so, we need your help. As always, we strive to meet the needs of our families to the best of our abilities.
We need each family whose children are currently attending school in the Hybrid Model, to complete the attached online survey for each child attending.
We will make further announcements as soon as possible. Your feedback is always helpful & welcomed.
