The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) recognizes Safe Schools Week from October 14–18 to bring attention to the importance of creating safe and positive school environments. Girls YOUTH Basketball registration forms came home last week. The first after school practice: Thursday, October 24 3:00-4:15 3rd-4th 4:00-5:15 5th-6th Please return forms this week. I will also need volunteer coaches to coach travel teams. DEADLINE is October 22.

Youth Volleyball Monday, October 14 3:00-4:15 3rd-4th 4:00-5:15 5th-6th **4th grade girls playing travel will practice until 4:45 with their travel team.(Cardinal, Gold and White teams) Travel games Wednesday, October 16. Walk to School Our annual Fall Walk to School Event is tomorrow Friday , October 4th. Students that returned permission slips were wristbands by their teacher today. Students must have their wristband on their wrist to get off the bus. Student drop off starts at 7:15 at the Park entrance. Parents and family members are encouraged to walk with your student.

Our Rams are charging to Homecoming! ❤🏈💛 On October 11th, 2024, the Galesburg-Augusta Cross Country Team will be running from Delton-Kellogg to Galesburg-Augusta High School, carrying the football all the way for our Homecoming game! 🏃‍♂️💨 We are encouraging our incredible community to support them along the way as well as wait for them at Maskill Field! YOUTH VOLLEYBALL Games on Wednesday , September 25. Please be at the High School at 5:30. Games start at 6:00. $3 per student/adult. $7 per family. Girls will get their shirts tomorrow at school. Looking forward to watching what they can do.

🍁🍂 Count Day is Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024!! 🍎📚 We want to see our students in school EVERY DAY, but the first Wednesday in October is special. This day allows us to get maximum funding to support our school and our students. -Dr. Lindsey Newton, G-A Superintendent
