quails

Watch Them Hatch Here!

Seventh grade is embarking on an exciting hands-on project as part of their science unit—incubating and hatching a variety of baby quails! Students are learning about the fascinating process of how the blood supply transfers from the egg to the developing embryo inside. It's been an incredible experience watching the eggs thrive in our classroom environment.

Once the quails hatch, they will stay in the classroom for about two weeks, giving students the unique opportunity to hold, pet, and observe their rapid growth from tiny hatchlings to feathered birds.
