Good evening GA Families,
As stated in the robo-call currently being sent out to families, we are going to close for the day tomorrow (Friday, December 16). This is due to the large number of students and staff who are ill. We hope by providing a long weekend for folks to get better, next week can be a productive week of learning before the long winter break.
Our custodial staff will complete a thorough and deep clean before students return on Monday. The basketball games are still on for tonight, however the music concert for 1st and 2nd grade that was scheduled for tonight will be rescheduled for a day program sometime next week. Please watch for that announcement.
And finally, the daycare will also be closed tomorrow for cleaning.

Friday, Decemer 9th is Girls Youth Basketball night. Girls in grades 1st-8th grade that participate in youth basketball are invited. Please wear G-A youth basketball shirt and lanyard. Meet at the High School at 6:00 for the girls varsity game. At halftime girls will be introduced and perform for parents, student and community.
7th and 8th grade girls basketball sign up is tomorrow. Come and meet the coach, get information about the upcoming season. 7th grade meeting will be at end of the day. 8th grade during FX time (8:30) Season starts Tuesday, January 10.

Mrs. Hinga's 6th graders recently completed a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Veteran's Day. Through the generosity of our community's donations and t-shirt purchases, Mrs. Hinga's class successfully BEAT their fundraising goal of $750 for the WWP raising a total of $800! Great job Rams!
5th and 6th grade Boys open gym this Sunday (November 27)from 2:00-3:30 at the Primary.

Due to the inclement weather, we have decided it is in the best interest of all of our districts to cancel tomorrow's GK Girls Youth Basketball games at Parchment high school. We are going to tentatively reschedule for Sunday, December 11 at Parchment. The week 3 schedule will stay as is for Saturday, December 3rd at Comstock. We will move the week 2 schedule to Sunday, December 11th.
