Congratulations to our 6/7th boys basketball team. The Rams defeated St.Monica 29-21. Gio Evans led all scorers with 12. Jonah Ranes added 9. Tristan Jackson had important rebounds late in the game to secure the victory. “I was very pleased with our team defense today” coach Merasco. Next game is Tuesday at Constantine with a 5:00 start. We appreciate all the patience you have shown us in recent weeks with our schedule changes. Our goal was to move to full face to face instruction starting Feb. 15th. Good afternoon Ladies! I am very excited to share with you our 2021 girls basketball schedule. We will start practice on Thursday, February 18th. Practices will be 3:30-5:30. Please make sure you have filled out the MHSAA questionnaire form if you did not play volleyball in the fall. There will be No participation fee to play girls basketball this year. Attention Middle School Boys Basketball I want to update you about the season given the latest Whitmer announcement. We are still planning to practice next week. We will follow all protocols, however, we will be doing activities with NO physical contact. That means we will be conditioning, and doing skill development(ball handling, shooting, game study) . There will be No scrimmaging, or drills the require the boys to be within 6 feet of each other. We are also going to adjust the schedule to better allow more social distance: 6/7th grade 3:30-4:45 8th grade 4:30-6:00 Please plan accordingly for transportation. As of now we can not play any games until February 1st at the earliest. As I get more information I will share with you. Like you, I am also frustrated but I am going to choose to be positive and make the very best of this difficult situation. I look forward to seeing the boys next week. Go Rams ! Coach Merasco
