If you are interested in playing please to contact me ASAP. Here are the details: Practice at Comstock Elementary on 28th Street from 6-7:30 p.m. Games are usually on Monday and Wednesday nights, but can vary. A message from food services:September 8,2022 G-A Community, On behalf of the Galesburg-Augusta Food Service Department, we would like to update you on some important changes regarding lunch charges. Unfortunately, the Government did not pass legislation that provided free meals to all students for the 22/23 school year. It is important that you go to the mealmagic family portal and fill out the free and reduced lunch application. The portal link is on the district web page under parent links www.familyportal.cloud Also, within that portal is the link to deposit money into your child's lunch account. If a family is having difficulties making breakfast and/or lunch payments, please reach out to me to make payment arrangements. We will never deny a meal to a student, however if their account is negative more than $10.00 we will provide them with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a milk at no charge. Middle School Picture Day is Friday, September 16!

Attention Parents of girls in grades 3-6 Volleyball camp starts TOMMORRROW, Tuesday, September 6 All practices are at the PRIMARY. Students in third grade need to come to the gym immediately after school. Parents must pick up and sign out students at 4:00. Students in 4th-6th will ride the PINK bus from the MS to the Primary. Parents must pick up/sign out students at 5:15

Friday, September 9 is Rocket Football night at the varsity football game. All Rocket Football players and cheerleaders get in free. They will be introduced and allowed to be on the sidelines during the game. (Designated safe area )

MIDDLE SCHOOL VB OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT The Middle School Volleyball game on Monday, September 26th will be played at 1:30 at the MIddle School. All students in grades 4th-8th grade will be in attendance to support their classmates. More information will be coming regarding transportation .

Attention families: The Federal program for free school lunches has ended. That means students heading back to school this fall will need to begin paying for their lunches. Middle school volleyball schedule update: There are no practices again this week. Enjoy the end of summer! Try outs will be starting Monday, August 22nd. That week we have try outs/practice on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. 6-7:30 pm at the middle school gym. There will be an informational video later this week with more details. ALL students must have a physical on file dated after April 15, 2022.

Remember that practice officially begins August 22nd for MS sports (volleyball and cross country) Physicals are due on the MHSAA form before practices can start.
